On 13th June 2025, a heartfelt farewell ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s School, Umden, in honour of the outgoing principal, Rev. Fr. Joachim Ekka. The programme took place in the school hall and was attended by the entire school community — staff, students, and invited guests — who gathered to express their deep appreciation and gratitude for the invaluable contributions of Fr. Joachim during his remarkable seven-year tenure.
The atmosphere was filled with emotion and gratitude as the school bid a tearful goodbye to a beloved leader who had dedicated his energy and service to the growth and development of the institution. The farewell programme featured a variety of touching performances by the students, including soulful songs and vibrant dances that added colour and warmth to the occasion.
As a gesture of love and respect, the staff and students presented Fr. Joachim with gifts, expressing their heartfelt thanks for his leadership, dedication, and fatherly presence in the school.
