WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY AT THENZAWL
Don Bosco School, Thenzawl, observed World Environment Day on 5th June with great enthusiasm and commitment. The school corridors were adorned with environment-themed posters prepared by the students, creating awareness and setting the tone for the day.
The morning assembly was centered around the theme of environmental conservation. The Principal Fr. Mark Thanglamtuanga(SDB) addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of preserving the environment. Under his guidance, students brought saplings from home, which were then planted across the school campus.
As part of the observance, students also viewed an educational video focused on environmental issues.
The event concluded with a sense of satisfaction among both students and teachers, having actively contributed to the care and beautification of the environment.
