SCIENCE AND MATHS EXHIBITION AT MAWPDANG
On June 5, 2025, St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Mawpdang, observed the 3rd and 4th Bagless Day in celebration of World Environment Day with the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution Globally.”
The program began with a special assembly conducted by Class 11 students, followed by a pledge taken by all to fight against plastic pollution. Afterward, students participated in a tree plantation drive, during which around 100 trees were planted around the campus.
At 10:30 AM, the Science and Mathematics Exhibition was opened, featuring projects from Classes 6 to 10. Four groups from St. Joseph’s Secondary School, Mawiong also joined, displaying creative scientific and mathematical ideas.
To add to the day’s activities, an Essay Writing Competition was held for Class 11, while students from all classes took part in Drawing and Poster-Making Competitions. The event promoted environmental awareness, creativity, and scientific thinking among students.
