CAREER COUNSELLING AT DBS SILCHAR
A Career Counselling Programme was organized for the students of Classes IX and X on May 8, 2025, during the 1st period. The session was conducted by expert members from Aakash Institute, Silchar. The event took place in the presence of the Principal, teachers, and all students of the two classes.
The counsellors from Aakash Institute provided valuable guidance on various career options available after Class X. They highlighted the importance of early planning, goal setting, and choosing the right stream based on one’s interests and aptitude. The speakers also discussed competitive exams, future career prospects, and how students can make informed choices to achieve their ambitions.
The interactive session helped students clear their doubts and gain clarity about potential career paths in science, commerce, humanities, and beyond. The programme proved to be highly informative and beneficial, equipping students with the knowledge they need to make confident decisions about their future.
