FEAST OF DOMINIC SAVIO AT MAWKYNDENG
Today, St Dominic Hr Sec School, Mawkyndeng celebrated the school feast of St Dominic Savio the patron of the school. Our school hosted a vibrant and engaging feast, featuring a variety of activities that brought together students, teachers, and the community. The event was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of fellowship and showcasing the talents of our students.
The day commenced with the Holy Eucharist celebrated by the Rector of the House Fr Henry Warbah. After the Holy Eucharist we had the Football Tournament Final for Boys and girls category.The matches were played with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, culminating in the following results:
• Boys' Category:
Winners: Red House
Runners-up: Yellow House
• Girls' Category:
Winners: Green House
Runners-up: Blue House
After the sumptuous lunch we had a lively stage program, where students from four houses participated showcased their talents through dance performances, skits, cultural exhibition and musical renditions. The performances were met with enthusiastic applause, highlighting the creative abilities of our students. We end the feast day celebration with the common Jam session in the open stage bringing expression of joy and happiness taken part by staff and students.
